Hall of Fame Inductees: Peter Bax (Sunshine Coast AFL) & Warren Selvage (Sherwood Magpies)
On Friday our President Peter Bax was inducted into the Sunshine Coast AFL Hall of Fame for his service & contribution to footy on the coast through many varied roles. As well as his work for the league & multiple clubs, Baxie has always been & remains a strong force behind female representation in AFL.
Backing it up the very next day was our Women’s Coach Warren Selvage. He’s been recognised with many on & off-field accolades in the past & is now in the well established & successful Sherwood Magpies AFC Hall of Fame’s ‘Big Five’, along with his late father who was instrumental in the early years of their club’s foundations.
How lucky are the Jets to have both Baxie & Waz with each of their impressive backgrounds in our ranks!
